Job description- Property Inspector St. Louis, MO

Evergreen Property Inspectors is seeking to hire a home inspector in the St Louis region.  Experience is preferred, but we will hire the right entry level person that has building trade experience if they are the right fit.  We serve clients throughout the St Louis Region in Illinois and Missouri.

Our goal is to train a candidate to our company standards, while adhering to all national and state rules and regulations. Successful property inspectors take a thoughtful- systematic approach to investigating buildings so we can create reports to inform the clients that hire us. This means being proficient in the technical aspects of construction while being able to explain findings through strong interpersonal communication skills. We value integrity, a strong work ethic, adaptability, innovation, and a desire to support other team members and industry partners who are also working on behalf of our clients. Job Requirements:

• Good customer interaction skills and a confident professional demeanor. You will interact with home buyers, home sellers, real estate agents, and other property inspection professionals.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Punctuality and on-time performance for appointments and meetings.
• Career focused with the desire to grow your skillset along with the company.
• Maintain safe working conditions with a positive and courteous demeanor while ensuring all parties attending an inspection act appropriately as guests visiting the property of others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain findings and prepare reports.
• Ability to work unsupervised and maintain a valid state driver’s license, clean insurance and driving record, and have reliable transportation.
• Physically capable for performing all inspector duties and functions including using ladders and navigating attic spaces and crawlspaces.
• Must pass all background checks and company screening.
• Must be open to work in the following counties; Madison, IL., St. Clair, IL., St. Louis, MO., St. Charles, MO., Jefferson County, MO.
• Working knowledge of Spectora software is a plus. Smartphone is required for utilizing software at various jobsites.
• Computer and phone app experience including basic Word, Excel, and Google Calendar.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

Training Process:
We provide access to a self-directed online training course you can complete at your own pace. Once the online training is successfully completed paid training starts. The training program lasts 1-3 months depending on experience. Select tools and equipment provided.
Insurance Coverage; Workers Compensation, General Liability, Professional Liability and various disability and company match retirement benefits.
Licensing, Certification, professional organization fees paid/reimbursed. On-going education and training to continually improve knowledge and skills of employee.

Job Type: W-2 Employee, Full-time, Monday – Friday 8-5pm with opportunity to expectation to pick up work on some Saturdays during our busy season. Compensation: $17-$24 hourly, $40K-$55K per year, mileage reimbursement.
